Establishing a trusting relationship with a REALTOR® requires a minimum knowledge of this person, at least some professional parameters and credentials, aside from your personal feelings. Allow me to tell you more about myself, particularly what I suspect might be of interest to you – the Client.
With over 25 years of real estate experience, I have been
specializing exclusively in residential representation for
the last 24 years, strictly in Broward and Palm Beach counties.
I am a member of the Florida Association of Realtors (FAR), member of
the National Association of Realtors (NAR), member of the National Council of Residential Specialists (CRS), member of the Accredited Real Estate Buyers Representative (ABR), member of the Real Estate Cyber Specialists (RECS), as well as a member of both Greater Fort Lauderdale and the Palm Beaches Board of Realtors. I am also e-PRO certified (on-line technology professional), Transnational Relocation Certified (TRC), as well as an Accredited Staging Professional (ASP). I also practiced for two years as a real estate Business Coach and Instructor. What does it mean to you? How do you benefit from those designations, certifications and experience?
When I know more, my clients get more. When I get better skilled, my clients get better representation.
Let me tell you more.
Professors have the Ph.D.
Physicians have the M.D.
REALTORS® have the CRS.
It means your agent has earned the prestigious Certified Residential Specialist Designation— the residential real estate industry’s most advanced “degree”. Because only one in every 25 REALTORS® has the advanced training, experience, and commitment to call themselves a Certified Residential Specialist. So when you’re looking for a real estate agent, look for a Certified Residential Specialist. 100% of the time.
While CRS Realtors® may have more real estate experience and more training than the average real estate agent, they don’t cost any more. In fact, their expertise may actually save you time and money when you’re buying a home or increase your profit when you’re selling one. So when you’re looking for a real estate agent, look for a Certified Residential Specialist.
The CRS Designation is a nationally recognized symbol of excellence. My knowledge of the market will help you determine the accurate value of the property you are selling or purchasing—that means either lesser cost to you or more money for you! Today’s changing choices may help determine your success, whether you are buying or selling property— let my real estate knowledge work for you!
Fewer than 4% of all Real Estate Licensees nationwide have received the CRS Designation!
Today’s consumer’s demands and expectations have greatly evolved; they are expecting speed, convenience, choice, value-added, service and information, lots of information being the hottest commodity. An e-PRO Designee is a Realtor® who has recognized the needs of the connected consumers and has chosen to make the technology investment to serve them. Far beyond the simple purchase of technology tools, assisting classes and passing examination, the e-PRO designee is the one who integrates technology in the daily practices of his/her profession.
As consumers are often overwhelmed and confused by the “information overload” generated by the Internet, the e-PRO is adept at extracting information from the Internet and local MLS and then re-assembling the information into knowledge, thus creating value for the consumer.
In fact, the e-PRO filters, customizes, manages, analyses, and processes the information for you. A professional e-PRO will manage with dexterity, e-mail, e-mail attachments in different formats, is likely to own their own web site, may know how to build a web site for your property marketing and with great chance may even provide you with customer login and password for accessing your own web page when working with them.
Real estate professionals who earned the ABR designation have taken special training that focuses on Buyers in order to better guide them successfully through what could be the most complicated transaction of their life. In order to be a designee, a Realtor needs not only to attend classes and pass examination but also is required to submit a number of closed transactions affidavit where he/she has represented Buyers.
Representation knowledge and negotiation skills are at the very focus of the ABR Syllabus. But why should you care when you are “selling” your property? As your “selling” representative, your Realtor® will constantly be in contact with Buyers’ Agents and Buyers; his/her behavior, his/her quality of representation and understanding of the buyers needs-issues and concerns may very well determine the speed and the quality of transaction they may enact for you.
The RECS designation lets clients and colleagues know of a REALTOR® proficiency in serving the public with recognized skills for utilizing CyberSpace marketing programs and for effectively adopting special technology and networking systems.
Membership to the society has entitled to many privileges of networking with other cyber professionals; attend additional training and seminars, newsletters, tools and programs, all always aiming at enhancing the Realtors® abilities to better serve their clients.
is an alliance whose members are leading national real estate organizations in the world's major markets. Through a multilateral agreement and specific business practice protocols, this alliance provides significant benefits not only to its constituent members who seek to do transnational business but to its domestic constituents as well. ICREA's primary objective is to assist members of the respective organizations in efficiently facilitating transnational business, including through a Transnational Referral System and a Distinctive Properties Advertising Service.
While some view globalization and e-commerce as a threat to organized real estate, it is actually one of the greatest opportunities real estate associations and their Realtors® will encounter. In developed markets, there have been few industry innovations in the past century. In just a few short years, however, technology has become a major change agent, forcing industry leaders to look at re-inventing the role of real estate associations and Realtors®. This has had direct impact on international real estate activities.
As a Transnational Relocation Certified Realtor®, I have not only learned
but also agreed to the practice of implemented business protocols in respect of established procedures. As a member of ICREA, I have direct access to international resources otherwise challenging to secure.
SELLING WITH AN ASP
If you want to sell a property, you want to package it so that it is attractive to customers (in this case, the home Buyer) because you want them to choose your house and not the competition. To gain an edge in your marketplace, you must be priced right and look better than the competition! The best, proven way to package your house and gain that competitive edge is to…Stage it!!!
Hire an agent who has successfully completed a detailed course and passed a thorough examination on preparing homes for sale. Homes that are Staged, or prepared for sale, by an Accredited Staging Professional™ look better than other homes on the market.
Some statistics are being gathered through-out North America and they reveal that Staged homes traditionally sell faster and/or for more money in today’s real estate market.
The ASP™ designation is a benchmark of true excellence in customer service for home sellers. When selling your home, look for an agent dedicated to the principles and practices of Staging and the many benefits this service may bring to you. Put all the chances on your side.
Many savvy buyers now look especially for Staged Homes and this logo. Of course, a property which qualifies as "Staged Property" also benefits from additional web presence. Ask your Realtor ASP the specifics and how it may benefit you.
As a real estate trainer, I have been actively involved in conceptualizing-designing-creating and implementing a real estate education syllabus for a Broward brokerage firm, including 37 different workshops. The REPRESENTATION SERIES, a favorite of the associates, included two-day each workshops for Sellers Representation, Buyers Representation, FAR Contract, Lead Generation & Pricing Effectively. Other SERIES included Technology, Influence, Business, Time Management and more.
Education is a key factor to my success: each time I pursue and complete an additional certification or designation, I increased the knowledge and skills therefore available to enhance my clients’ services. When I know more, my clients get more. When I get better skilled, my clients get better representation.
I pursued my education in Canada, and completed two Bachelors Degrees. Initially speaking French, I have developed over the years an affluent clientèle of Canadians and Europeans and am very familiar with the technical and legal particularities imposed by foreign ownership of real estate in the United States.
On a yearly basis, I do complete a substantial amount of transactions representing Sellers and Buyers, establishing myself as a hard worker, multi million dollar producer. For your security and mine, I also carry an Errors and Omission Insurance policy.
